Toasty Garlic Bread

This is another 'basic but good' post of a recipe I've long followed with very delicious results. It's quick, easy, and goes with pretty much anything!


Toasty Garlic Bread


Ingredients

1/2 baguette 

4 tablespoons of margarine or salted butter

4 cloves of garlic (crushed/minced)

Parsley (to taste)


Directions

1) Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2) Cut the baguette into 2.5-centimeter or 1-inch slices.

3) Thoroughly mix the remaining ingredients (room temperature butter works best for this if you don't live somewhere too crazy cold!). 

4) Thickly slather the top of the baguette slices in the herbed garlic butter and wrap the resulting garlic bread in foil before placing on a tray in the oven and baking for 25 minutes.

5) Serve this toasty, crusty garlic bread as is or with your dish of the day, and enjoy!
