Rose Hot Chocolate

Unlike my spiced hot chocolate (recipe here), this is something I tried on a whim very recently and fell in love with. If you're not someone who loves the sight, smell, and/or taste of roses, then this might not be for you. Don't knock it till you try it though! As with my spiced hot chocolate, this is more of a set of guidelines than a recipe per se.

Rose Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
Cocoa powder
Milk
Sugar
or
Hot chocolate packet(s)
and
Rose water

Directions
1) Lord, bless!
2) If you're making hot chocolate from scratch, put whole milk (mixed with water, as preferred) in a pot on the stove over medium heat and stir in the cocoa and sugar - start small and build up to the strength and sweetness you want. (It all depends on how many mugs you're making, whether you want dark hot cocoa, sweet or not so much...) If you're making one mug, then add about half a capful of rose water just before serving and enjoy!
or
2) Throw your hot chocolate packet(s) in your mug(s) along with the half a capful of rose water and fill the mug(s) a quarter or third full with milk before topping off with boiling water and enjoy!
