Apple Pancakes

A lovely, simple apple pancake recipe, adapted from this recipe. (I mostly beefed up the spicing, which was deeply lacking.) A bit on the moist side for my preference, but wonderful all the same. Enjoy!

Apple Pancakes

Ingredients
1 cup of milk
1 cup of shredded apple
1/4 cup of melted butter
1 egg
1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of cardamom

Directions
1) Lord, bless!
2) In a large bowl combine the milk, apple, butter, and egg. In a separate bowl combine the remaining ingredients.
3) Stir the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients until just combined.
4) Put about a quarter cup of batter at a time into a lightly oiled pan on medium high heat and brown on both sides.
5) Serve hot with maple syrup and whatever other toppings you desire and enjoy!
