Egg Custard

A quick and easy recipe for a lovely little dessert for two! (Adapted from this recipe.)

Egg Custard

2 eggs
1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of sugar
Salt (to taste)
Nutmeg (to taste)

1) Lord, bless!
2) Whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt until thoroughly combined.
3) Divide the custard mixture evenly between two ramekins or mugs (pouring through a strainer to achieve a smooth texture), sprinkle lightly with nutmeg, and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
4) Place in the steaming rack of your rice cooker over already boiling water, cover, and steam for 30 minutes.
5) Uncover, chill (if desired), and enjoy!
